• Core Data: Birth date, birth time, birth location, and gender required for BaZi and Zi Wei Dou Shu calculations. This is essential for generating your charts.
• Account Information: If you register, we collect your email address and encrypted password for authentication and to save your reading history.
• Device & Log Data: We automatically collect device model, OS version, IP address, and access timestamps to ensure service stability and security.
• Biometric data (optional): If you use the "Xiang" module, any face or palm photo you choose to upload. See the dedicated section on biometric data below.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information strictly for:

• Service Generation: Generating BaZi charts, Zi Wei Dou Shu plates, and AI interpretations using your birth data.
• Service Optimization: Analyzing non-identifiable statistical data to improve our algorithm accuracy and user experience.
• Security: Monitoring for abnormal access and potential threats to protect users and the platform.

3. Data Storage & Security

We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• All sensitive data (e.g., passwords, personal profiles) is encrypted during transmission and storage.
• We enforce strict access controls; only authorized personnel can access necessary information.
• Your data is stored on servers compliant with local regulations where applicable.
• Retention: Chart records persist as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, core profile and reading history are purged within 30 days; encrypted backups expire within 90 days thereafter.

4. Sharing & Disclosure

We pledge NEVER to sell your personal information to third parties. We may share information only under these circumstances:

• Legal Requirements: To comply with laws, regulations, legal processes, or mandatory government requests.
• Service Providers: With trusted partners who assist in operating our services (e.g., cloud hosting, email delivery), under strict confidentiality agreements.
• AI Inference Providers: To generate your interpretations, your birth data and the specific question context are forwarded to third-party large language model providers — currently Google (Gemini) and DeepSeek — selected dynamically per request based on service-quality and cost criteria. The set of providers may change as we evaluate alternatives; the updated list will always be disclosed in this policy. Providers are bound by their own published data processing terms not to retain inputs beyond the inference window or use them for model training on our account.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the following rights:

• Access & Correction: You can view and edit your profile information at any time via "My Profile".
• Deletion: You can delete specific reading records or contact us to delete your account and all associated data.
• Withdraw Consent: You can withdraw consent for data processing by ceasing to use the service.

6. Children's Privacy

Our services are primarily directed at adults. If you are a minor, we recommend using the service under parental guidance. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

7. Policy Updates

We may update this policy periodically to reflect legal or service changes. Significant changes will be notified via website announcement or email.

8. Special handling of biometric data

When you use face or palm analysis, you upload a relevant photo. We use it solely to generate the corresponding analysis report, and never for face recognition, identity verification, advertising profiling, or any purpose unrelated to this service.

• Encrypted in transit and in temporary storage: All photos are transferred and temporarily stored over encrypted channels at the analysis nodes.
• Short retention: Original photos are purged from analysis nodes right after analysis; only structured results (feature tags, quantitative metrics, AI narrative) persist under your account.
• User control: You can delete any analysis record and its associated result at any time from Profile → History. Deletion is immediate and permanent — no backup copies are retained.
• No cross-user comparison: We do not cross-reference, cluster, or build a biometric database from photos across users.
