What is Chinese Face Reading?

Chinese face reading (mianxiang) maps areas of the face to life stages and character traits — the forehead governs early life and intellect, the nose governs career and midlife wealth, the chin governs late-life stability. Each feature is read for proportion, balance, and the subtle clues it carries about temperament.

Mianxiang is not about beauty. It reads the entire face as a topographic record of the Five Elements — shape tells you whether the person leans wood, fire, earth, metal, or water in temperament and stress response.

How to get a useful face reading

A good face reading starts with a clear photo and ends with element synthesis, not with a list of isolated verdicts.

FAQ

Are Face Reading and Palm Reading the same analysis?
No. Face reading focuses on the three sections, five features, complexion and bone structure of the face. Palm reading focuses on palm lines, finger shape and mount position. They live behind separate entry points, use different AI pipelines and quality gates, and do not cross-contaminate.
What are the photo requirements?
Front-facing, no heavy makeup, even lighting, face filling at least 60% of the frame, no sunglasses / mask / heavy fringe covering the features. The system runs quality control first; images that fail are asked to be retaken and do not consume credits.
What is the privacy policy for uploaded photos?
Photos are stored only in your personal account history and are not visible to anyone else. They are never used for model training, display, or third-party sharing. You can delete any photo and its reading from your history at any time — once deleted, the data is no longer retained in our database.
Which dimensions does Face Reading cover?
At minimum: the three-section proportions, the shape of the five features, complexion, bone-structure trend, and the expression / spirit of the face. Each dimension gives a plain-language conclusion, its classical rationale, and a practical suggestion.
Can I upload someone else's photo?
For privacy and compliance reasons, please only upload yourself or people who have given you permission. Uploading minors, public figures, or any unauthorised third-party photo for commercial or malicious use is prohibited and may result in your account being suspended.
